About Hong Seng Construction

Founded by Mr. Tan Jit Kee and Mr. Tan Heng Kee in1979. Initial focus on small scale housing development, then gain its reputation and recognition in Sarawak construction industry’s for its consistency in delivering quality and timely construction of industrial factories & facilities in Sama Jaya Free Industry Zone, followed by building projects for University, Stadium, Commercial center, high rise Residence for armed forces and military base camp.

Meantime, the company is also experienced in civil and infrastructure works of waste & sewerage treatment plant and drainage works. Hong Seng has since grown into a truly multi-diversified construction company. Through the numerous involvement in projects of various scale and multi-disciplinary, Hong Seng has benefited in experience and construction technology, also the adaptation with the local construction industry system and practices. The Company takes project of all scale with utmost care and strives to ensure smooth project implementation and deliver services and products of high and assured quality in every project.

Industrial Works

Hong Seng first diversified the Company by challenging the industrial works in Sama Jaya Industrial Zone by constructing the factory for Toko Electronic (M) Sdn Bhd. Later, the Company’s prompt delivery of fine quality products gained higher respectable reputation within the region and received more projects in the region including the construction of factory for Komag USA (M) Sdn, Zycon Corporation Sdn Bhd, Fidelity Chemical Products Corporation USA, OMG Fidelity (M) Sdn Bhd and Taiyo Yuden (S) Sdn Bhd.

Building Works

Hong Seng is also specialized in building works including institutional buildings, commercial complexes and shop houses, stadiums, sport complexes and governmental bodies buildings. Featured projects including the building & IT works for UNIMAS, Pemerintahan Timur Army Head Quarters Complex and police quarter at Jalan Field Force, Batu Kawa.

Civil and Infrastructure Works

Being multi diversified, Hong Seng is also experienced in civil & infrastructure work including SRB tank, Bio tank and sewerage treatment plant.

Housing Development and Residential Works

Superiorly experience in housing development, the Company first started its residential development project in 1979. Featured projects include Golden Farm, Shun Lee Garden, Shun Tak Indah, Taman Vision Land and Demak Indah. With the consistent support and mutual trust between the client and the Company, Hong Seng has moved towards a higher mutual growth and gained respectable reputation from its client due to the creditable quality of residential products delivered.
